ABOUT US
We are a team of behaviour and education consultants with lived experience with disability and a passion for human-rights based supports for people with disability. We specialise in supporting staff teams because we understand that the benefits to students and clients are exponential when the team around them are capable and confident.
WHAT WE DO
With the benefit of the extensive experience of our staff with long-term service in disability within education and community settings, we use the Positive Behaviour Support framework to achieve better outcomes for everyone involved. Using a human rights approach and our understanding of the neurobiology of disability, trauma, and learning; combined with a neuro-affirming approach that seeks to understand an individual’s needs; we guide the support team in creating an environment with effective foundational supports that make behaviours of concern irrelevant.
HOW IT WORKS
Our service offerings include training in disability and behaviour; consultancy for specific students and clients; training and consultancy in behaviour support; provision of evidence and reports for funding applications; support with developing behaviour policies that meet legal and ethical disability standards; and support with strategic planning for effective long term benefits to students, clients, and staff teams.
